Good NY Observer piece on Sam Tanenhaus, new head honcho at the Times Book Review. Kinda funny to hear that he "hangs" with Eric Alterman, though, considering the remarks in this old Slate exchange. ("Tanenhaus' attack is dishonest in more ways than I can count.") Guess they made up.
