More today in the Times on "The Manchurian Candidate" -- looks like they're making an entirely different movie from the original, which is good. I ought to shut up about it until I see it.

I'm ten pages away from the end of Of Human Bondage and I couldn't be happier. More on that later.

Loved John Edwards' speech last night, what I heard of it anyway, on the radio. It builds on the convention momentum of Barack Obama's reputedly star-making speech the night before.

Love to say more but I've got an assload of work to catch up with.
