Through a Glass Darkly -- Saw it years ago, and it has never left my head. The effect has never left my head, the mad emotionalism of it. Everyone considers it lesser Bergman, but those are often my favorites.
Weekend -- Godard. Why would I rent this? My memories of it are nothing but shit. Honking horns. Someone kills a pig. A guy sits on a garbage truck eating bread while we listen to a sermon about African Nationalism. Ranks high on the list of Movies I've Never Really Gotten.
Floating Weeds -- Ozu. I'm on kind of a kick with him, I guess.
