"...[F]atefully, in the early sixties young Bill Clinton chose the profession of politics: the one area of American life where traditional Victorian attitudes would not be successfully challenged and modernized. Instead of going down in history for his political achievements, he would go down -- in every sense of that verb -- for two simple, scandalous words: oral sex." -- from Nigel Hamilton's new "psychobiography" of Clinton, reviewed here. The book sounds like a nightmare. I must read it.
