I should also mention that I saw Hostel last night, the notorious gore film written and directed by Eli Roth. It's very good. I think I rented it just to see if I could stand it, since I knew it involved torture. It's actually a quite effective gorefest; one that jacks up the tension before letting fly with the spurting arterial blood and severed limbs.
