SNL to Media: Enough with the Lovefest

"Saturday Night Live" gave a good pasting last night to the media's rampant Obamaphilia. In an opening sketch spoofing the latest debate, CNN panelists were ridiculously fawning to Obama (Sample question: "Can I get you anything?") and abrasive to Hillary (who of course also came in for some hilarious barbs, as she desperately tried to downplay her recent run of bad primary luck.)

I'm not sure how politically-motivated the sketch was, but it did send a message: act like reporters, for God's sakes, not a cheerleading squad. Hit the guy and hit him hard.

Will they listen?
